POLYMERS PLANTS
Besides textile applications today also polymer packaging materials are widely used throughout the world. Development of the markets constantly gives rise to new applications. We offer solutions for these applications with our continuous and discontinuous processes suited for the most diverse polymers.

In addition to plants for the production and further processing of polyester and polymide, our principal portfolio also includes PEN (Polyethylene naphtalate) and copolymers, as well as polylactic acid and polycarbonate.

DIRECT TO PREFORM
Our principals offers various downstream technologies for the processing of polymers. The direct to perform process for the manufacture of PET bottle performs offers particular cost benefits for our customers.

DIRECT TO FILM
With our integrated process, which accelerates the overall production, we manufacture your polyester films while at the same time realizing significant cost savings for you.

POLYESTERS
Polyesters is a base product suited for the most manifold and varied fields of application. Be it textiles, packaging or use in the automotive and electrical industry - we offer our customers the most innovative and economically mature processes.
  • PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) is the dominant polyester for textile applications packaging, in particular for bottle production.

  • PTT (Polytrimethylene terephthalate), an innovative polyester made from PTA (pure terepthalic acid) and propanediol (PDO), is now available in industrial scale and combines the outstanding properties of polyester and polyamides. Carpets made from PTT are resistant to staining and offer a high traffic resiliency. Textiles made from this fiber are characterized by a soft feel, excellent drape and comfortable stretch.

  • PBT (Polybutylene terephthalate) is used in the automotive and electrical industries in particular on account of its properties.

POLYAMIDE
Synthetic polyamides are the oldest truly useful synthetic fibers and still today rank among the most important synthetic fibers in terms of volume. The main polyamides are polyamide 6.6 and polyamide 6. We offer our customers not only processes for their production but have also developed the corresponding recycling concepts.
